Haiku Poetry
Lost frog
Always against the tree
Summer breeze
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Haiku generator
The boats are floating
All around the Lakeside grass
People everywhere
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hotel Indigo
Breathe in. Breathe out.
Learn to relax and escape.
If only for tonight.

Poem
You must be a young lady name Lou
Who would sit at a desk eating stew
You might think I would say
You can come home anyway
And ill watch two raccoons at the zoo

Summer
Summer
Hot like a fireball on your face
Where kids can play
People can go to beaches and have some fun
Where they can run just like the sun
Other people don't like summer
But I think in summer people can ride hummers
Waves in the beaches splashes very high
People almost think they about to fly
People can ride hummers
but it really sounds like drummers
Running in the hot
Sweating, but people already want to take a shot
Hot like a fireball on your face
Where kids can play
People can go to beaches and have some fun
Where they can run just like the sun
Other people don't like summer

Quizes
Paragraph 1: The math exam part 1 was really easy. No I didn't find it difficult because i knew some of the questions in that test. Part 2 was difficult . Part 2 was more difficult than part 1 because in part 2 we had to explain and it had difficult questions. I think on the math exam I had a 3. It took me 5 minutes before it was time to finish the test. I went over my answer because I wanted to know if I was sure with all my answers.
Paragraph 2: I feel I did fine because I got an 25 out of 30. I think it wasn't a hard part on the quiz except for the ones I got wrong. In the poetry quiz today I think I did fine too. I found most difficult when we had to underline the figurative languages and put it on which one is it. I think my grade will be about a 85%. I do feel like I was ready for this quiz today because I already knew almost all of the figurative language.

How do we evaluate expressions?
3/13/09
MATH
Today in math class I learned how to evaluate expressions.
A variable is when a letter represents a number that can vary.
A constant is a number that cannot change.
The difference between a variable and a constant is that a variable can change and a constant cannot.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Expressions
12x = 12•x 4/y = 4÷y 3xy/2 = 3xy÷2

10 Line Poem
Baseball
I was in the park playing baseball with my friends
He thought I wasn't going to hit the ball when I was batting
Pitcher pitched the purple ball
"BAM" I hit it
I hit the ball like it was the first time I hit it
It was a long meter hit
My head was screaming at me "YAY"
My friends were surprise because I was 5 years old that time
I thought I was going to be a good play from that day and on
After that day I was a good player like some of my friends
