I feel racism still exist because I always hear people talking about their colors. Racism exist in different type of ways like their color, where they from, and etc. I have never experienced racism only one ways when someone said something about where I'm from. I think Steve Harmon experienced racism because in jail without knowing him they considered him as monster by his colors and he is on trial for murder.
I think their is racism in our country court. A minority can get a fair trial because it's not fair having that for elders and then minors will be doing very bad things. I think Steve Harmon can get a fair trial because he murdered. I think he feels good because he I think he considered that as fair trial.
Some people feel that our country's court is racism because people be racism sometimes. I feel that their is more black people then in college because some people consider others to not go to college just go and buy things with the money instead of using it for college.

Monster Blog 1

The language that we use is very powerful to be saying names to people. People call each other names sometimes to start problem or to make someone feel bad. I call people names when they say names to me or sometimes I say name to them, not really most of the times. I feel that some people just ignore when they call them names, but some feel very bad and offended. I most of the times hear and see people being called a lot of names. There is a boy in my school that is always being teased of being gay. People also feel like hitting other if they are being teased like 10 times a day, or more, or less.
Petrocelli called Steve a monster because he is considered for murder and stealing cigar rates and he don't really care about it. Mostly when people are being called names they mostly put fat in it, stupid, or retarded. Steve feels sometimes upset about being called a monster or something he just ignores it. After he is called a monster he talks back or sometimes he don't like I said. I think Steve doesn't feel like a monster. I think Steve is a monster because he should have care about what he did and try to get a new life. I think Steve is guilty for doing things he not supposed to do.
I think the jury don't sees Steve as a monster. If I was in the jury I wouldn't considered Steve as a monster or else he will feel offended and try to murder again. Steve titled his book monster because he knew lots of people was calling him a MONSTER!

The game I enjoyed the most today was from rags to riches. In order to play the game I had to answer questions of what figurative language it is. My Score was One million . Hyperbole
I learned that hyperbole is when you over exaggerate something. Example of an hyperbole is like this; You so hairy you got dread lox on your back. Another Example is like this; You so fat when you scale yourself, the scale says "To be Continue". People use hyperboles because they want people to let people know more about his subject. The hyperbole that I mostly use every day is about the food that they give in my house after I come from school. The best figurative language that I have learned so fast is hyperboles. This is my favorite figurative language because I like exaggerating a lot of things.

Proportion

Aim: How do we solve proportions by using cross products?
The term cross product can help you remember how to solve a proportion, by dividing the product by the number.
Example:

___ = ___ ; 2x = 36; x =18.

He did this problem wrong because if you cross multiply you're going to get 3x= 24. If you subtract 3 from 24 you're going to have 21. So he put x= 18, but it was x= 7. I know x=7 also because 21÷3 is 7.
